The DHI conNextions management staff have been closely monitoring the impact COVID-19 has had on its attendees, exhibitors, partners and the industry as a whole. We sincerely hope that you, your family and business remain healthy and safe.
We are currently exploring all options for DHI conNextions 2020, scheduled to take place October 14-15, and how we can safely accommodate attendees at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in accordance with the CDC and local government recommendations. This includes potentially moving the event–in full or in-part, to a virtual environment that offers the same high quality education, expert speakers, and networking opportunities that you have come to expect from our in-person event.
It is our plan to confirm whether DHI conNextions will take place in-person in the next few weeks. We believe this time frame will provide our attendees and exhibitors with the time needed to make arrangements for their participation.
We appreciate your understanding as we make the decision that is right for all of our attendees, speakers, exhibitors and other stakeholders.
Lastly, we would like to thank you for your patience, loyalty and partnership as we move through these unprecedented and challenging times.

AC Business Media continues to closely monitor the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. As this is an evolving situation, we are committed to providing regular updates to you as new information becomes available.
Our thoughts are with those who have been, and continue to be, affected by this outbreak. Please see the latest situation summary from the CDC here.
On March 11 the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 (2019-nCOV) outbreak a global pandemic. Global health organizations including WHO and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have urged that all nonessential travel to the People’s Republic of China, Iran, South Korea, and many countries in Europe be avoided, as well as have issued an advisory against travel globally for older adults or those who have chronic medical conditions. Please see the most up-to-date alert list here. In addition, the travel restrictions signed by the U.S. Government on January 31 and February 29, 2020 remain in effect. Effective March 13, 2020, there are additional restrictions banning travel to the United States by foreign nationals from EU countries for a 30-day period.
We continue to closely monitor the situation, and we are actively following the guidance from global and federal public health agencies.
Health officials are urging the following preventive practices for keeping yourself and others healthy—stay home when you are sick; avoid contact with those sick, ensure frequent washing of hands, etc. We encourage all of you to read and follow the CDC and WHO recommendations for protecting yourself and others from the infection. In addition, the CDC has added precautions for those at higher risk for COVID-19 complications. To further understand the facts around this outbreak, please read through the Key Facts page, also from the CDC.
AC Business Media continues to monitor these developments, and we encourage you to follow any guidance offered by WHO, the CDC, your local public health authorities, or your company-directed guidance regarding travel advisories and other precautions.
As new information becomes available, we will advise of any changes and provide relevant updates here as warranted. The health, safety, and welfare of our event participants remain of highest importance to us.
