Registration Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be received in writing via email to dhiconnextions@iron.markets by September 4, 2024. Cancellations received by this date will receive a refund, less a 20% administrative fee or $20—whichever amount is greater. Registrants wishing to cancel may send someone to take their place without penalty if they send a written request with the replacement person’s name by September 4, 2024.
No refunds will be issued after September 4, 2024. If you do not cancel and do not attend the event, you are still responsible for full payment.
After September 4, 2024, all cancellations must be submitted in writing and sent to dhiconnextions@iron.markets for consideration. DHI conNextions will review special requests for refunds no later than October 7, 2024. DHI conNextions retains the right to determine what constitutes an emergency situation, if additional supporting documentation is required, and if a refund will be given, and DHI conNextions’ decision will be final.
If the event is cancelled or not held for any reason, registered attendees will receive a refund of all amounts actually paid.
Hotel and transportation reservation cancellations must be handled by the individual registrant directly with the hotel, airline and/or other company.
No refunds are offered for classes which may be suspended or shortened due to weather or other conditions or circumstances beyond IRONMARKETS’, formerly known as AC Business Media, control.
Disclaimer
DHI conNextions, its contractors, and attending news media may be photographing or videotaping sessions at the event. By attending DHI conNextions, attendees acknowledge these activities and agree to allow their image to be used by DHI conNextions in association publications, on the DHI conNextions website, and in marketing and promotional materials. Attendees at DHI conNextions waive all claims against DHI conNextions for any liability resulting from these uses. Furthermore, I acknowledge DHI conNextions right to crop, splice, treat, and edit any photographs taken of me are at the DHI conNextions sole discretion. I waive my right to inspect or approve the finished product, now and in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to me.
I hereby agree to release, defend, and hold harmless DHI conNextions and its agents or employees, including any company publishing and/or distributing the finished product in whole or in part, from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the photographs, including but not limited to any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or in the taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution.
COVID-19 Warning
DHI conNextions has taken enhanced health and safety measures for its attendees, exhibitors and contractors. Attendees must follow all posted healthy and safety instructions while attending DHI conNextions.
Wherever people gather in public spaces, there exists a inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can cause severe injury or death. Senior citizens and person with underlying medical conditions are believed to be particularly vulnerable to exposure.
By participating in DHI conNextions, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure. Your efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy are appreciated.
“Suitcasing” Policy
All door security and safety professionals are welcome and invited to attend DHI conNextions. However, out of respect for our exhibitors, attendees from non-exhibiting companies or suppliers are prohibited from soliciting business on the trade show floor, including aisles, booths, or in any other public space contracted for DHI conNextions. Any individuals observed by Show Management in violation of this policy will be respectfully asked to leave.
Acceptance
By registering for and attending DHI conNextions events, I hereby agree that I accept the terms stated above and, indemnify and hold harmless DHI conNextions, its affiliates and their respective directors, employees and agents (including, without limitation, any agent acting on its behalf) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys` fees) resulting from attendance at DHI conNextions events.
