This is your opportunity to share your expertise with our exclusive audience of door security and safety professionals in the non-residential construction industry. DHI conNextions attendees are looking for the latest information, cutting-edge strategies and best practices that will help advance career development, increase productivity and organizational efficiency as well as navigate the future of door security and safety.
The majority of the core conference sessions at DHI conNextions are 60-90 minutes in length, including Q&A. Single-speaker presentations are accepted as well as panel discussions. For exhibitors interested in submitting 20-minute sessions for the Innovation Theater, held on the trade show floor, that will be a separate submittal at a later date.

Industry Leaders: DHI conNextions is seeking dynamic speakers in the door security and safety space who can inspire, educate, and engage our exclusive audience of door security and safety professionals in the non-residential construction industry.
Out of Industry Subject Matter Experts: Marketing, advertising, and digital-savvy professionals with knowledge in cutting-edge technology, emerging trends, and techniques applicable to door and hardware professionals with proven expertise in leadership, sales and management, business operations, HR, and employment law.
What We Are Looking For
DHI conNextions remains dedicated to providing attendees with original and innovative topics built around technical expertise, as well as the most up-to-date data, trends, technologies, and proven approaches to help solve pain points and tap into new growth opportunities within the industry.
Speaker Selection Criteria
Due to the sizable number of proposals we receive each year, the DHI conNextions Conference team, Show Management, and Advisory Board makes selections based upon the following criteria:
- A diverse perspective and voice within the Conference program that will inspire and educate attendees.
- Interactive discussions and real-world hands-on training and experiences that actively engage attendees.
- Focuses on the how-to of relevant and timely industry topics.
DHI conNextions Speaker Benefits
Confirmed speakers receive one complimentary badge to 2024 DHI conNextions, which grants an “All-Access Pass” to the event including access to all Conference Sessions, Expo Hall, both the Influencer Party and conNextion After Party, industry exposure through event marketing materials, access to the Speaker Ready Lounge, and more! Speakers will not be paid an honorarium for their sessions but will be provided a free hotel stay at our host hotel, Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, for each session they present.

Please review the DHI conNextions Speaker Application Process and Proposal Guidelines thoroughly before beginning your application and follow the process provided to apply as a speaker for DHI conNextions. The Advisory Board and Conference Management will be reviewing many proposals, so please understand that we will not be able to consider proposals submitted with incomplete information. Please note that all sessions must be educational (strictly non-promotional), provide actionable insights, and be presented for the first time at DHI conNextions.
To ensure we keep to important event deadlines, we are unfortunately unable to accept any submissions made after the Call for Speakers close date, May 17, 2024.

Important Notice
We seek to create a premiere event for the door security and safety community, and therefore (other factors being equal) priority is given to proposals that include original content designed exclusively for DHI conNextions that has not been presented at other DHI conNextions or events in the industry.
DHI conNextions retains the rights to modify titles and descriptions for marketing purposes. Avoid all commercial bias. Sessions perceived by attendees as commercially biased in content (including use of client examples or proprietary tools/models) are unacceptable. Therefore, DHI conNextions requires that any person in a position to influence or control content disclose all relevant financial relationships and/or commercial interests at the time of proposal submission. Any submission that is not educational in nature, neutral and unbiased, and free of commercial motive/intent will not be accepted.
The selected proposals will receive an e-mail notification of participation by June 5, 2024. If you DO NOT receive notification by this date, this means your proposal has not been selected.
